WHAT IS SAM & AUSMAT?
BY: SOUTH AUSTRALIAN MATRICULATION & AUSTRALIAN MATRICULATION
- Both are pre-university courses that require you to take 5 subjects
- Final results are called the Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR)
- SAM (SACE International) 70% coursework + 30% examination
- Is 15 – 24 months long, then >AUSMAT (WACE) 50% coursework + 50% examination
- Is 10 -12 months long, then > Degree locally or overseas (especially in Australia)
